Duncan Crest

Most of us are really proud of our family name and where we're from. Being so far from my family I always wear my Duncan crest and I have passed many pieces on to my family members. The back of the pendant has the family name while the front features the Duncan motto "disce pati" which is written in Latin. Which translates to "learn to suffer". It is a mentality that respectfully acknowledges the hardships of the human conditions. Then looks itself in the face and utters loudly and perhaps somewhat obnoxiously "Deal with it"
